Privacy Policy

Version 2026-09-01, effective 1 September 2026.

Who we are and who this covers

Konekt Ltd. places pre-vetted Filipino professionals with companies in the United States and Europe. We decide how the personal information described here is handled, which makes us the personal information controller for it.

This policy covers three groups: talent who create an account with us, contacts at client companies who enquire or work with us, and visitors who only browse the site. You can reach us any time at hr@konektn.com, including to access, correct or delete your information.

Our offices are at 803 Camarillo Springs Rd., 1st Floor, Camarillo, CA 93012 (United States) and 4th Floor CityState Centre, 709 Shaw Blvd., Pasig, Metro Manila (Philippines).

What we collect

If you apply as talent: your name, email, phone, location and the profile you build with us; your CV and the details read from it (skills, work history, education, languages); documents you upload such as identification and certificates; cover letters and answers to screener questions; interview bookings, application and placement records; messages you exchange with our team; a profile photo if you add one; and the date and version of the privacy consent you gave.

If you enquire as a client: your name, work email, company, the role you need and your message, plus the records of our work together. We also store a one-way hashed fingerprint of your network address purely to limit spam submissions. The address itself is not kept.

If you only browse: nothing that identifies you, unless you accept analytics cookies.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, medical records, government ID numbers beyond what a placement requires, financial account details or anything else we have not requested.

Why we use it, and on what basis

Your consent is what allows us to show your profile, CV and documents to a client considering you for a role, and what allows analytics cookies to load. You can withdraw either at any time.

Our contract with you covers running the hiring process: matching you to roles, arranging interviews, making offers, setting up placements, and sending the service emails that go with them.

Our legitimate interests cover keeping the platform secure, preventing fraudulent or duplicate accounts, limiting spam, and understanding how well our marketing works.

Legal obligations cover the placement, tax and contract records we are required to keep.

Who sees it

Our own staff, on a need-to-know basis, and only the specific client considering your application. We do not circulate profiles to clients who have no live role for you, we do not publish profiles, and we never sell your information.

Service providers who run parts of the platform for us: our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, Google Calendar when an interview is scheduled, and Google Analytics where you have consented. They act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Sending information to the United States and Europe

Our clients are outside the Philippines, so a profile shared for a role is transferred abroad, most often to the United States and Europe. This is exactly why we ask for your explicit consent before sharing anything: without it, your profile stays with us.

We require every client to treat candidate information as confidential and to use it only to assess that candidate for the role in question. Our hosting, email and calendar providers also process data outside the Philippines under their own contractual safeguards.

Analytics and cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cookie choice. Those are always on because the site cannot work without them.

We also use Google Analytics to count visits, see which sources bring people to the site, and measure three outcomes: a talent signup, an application submitted, and a client enquiry sent. Analytics never loads for visitors in the EU, the UK and comparable regions until they accept it, and declining is a single click. Everywhere else you can switch it off at any time.

How long we keep it

Talent profiles stay while your account is open. When you delete your account we remove or anonymise your profile, CV and documents. Placement, offer and agreement records are kept for as long as we are legally required to, in an anonymised form where the account has been closed. Client enquiries are kept while we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards. Analytics data is retained by Google on our behalf for 14 months.

Your privacy consent

Every Konektor accepts this policy before their profile can be shared. We record the exact date and the policy version, and you can see both on your own account at any time.

Review or update your privacy consent

You can withdraw your consent whenever you want. From that point we stop sharing your profile with clients, and you can ask us to close your account. Withdrawal does not undo sharing that already happened, and it does not affect records we must keep for a placement that has already started.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we publish a new version here and ask you to confirm it the next time you sign in.

Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 you have the right to be informed, to access your information, to correct anything inaccurate, to object to processing (including analytics and marketing), to have your information erased or blocked, to a copy of your data in a portable form, and to claim damages for a violation. You may also complain to the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.

Visitors and clients in the EU and the UK have the equivalent rights under their own data protection law, including the right to complain to their local supervisory authority.

To use any of these rights, email hr@konektn.com. We reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity first. You can also manage your consent yourself.

Security

Accounts are protected by password sign-in, every record is access-controlled so people only see what their role allows, documents are stored privately and opened through short-lived links, and staff access is limited by permission. No system is perfect: if a breach affects your information we notify you and the National Privacy Commission as required by law.

Children

The platform is for adults. You must be at least 18 to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect information about children. If you believe a minor has registered, email hr@konektn.com and we will remove the account.
