About this role
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Remote Civil Litigation Paralegal to provide litigation support with a primary focus on discovery, disclosure, document organization, and legal drafting. The successful candidate will work remotely with attorneys handling civil litigation matters, learning and applying the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure. This position assists throughout the discovery process by collecting and organizing client documents, tracking deadlines, and drafting materials for attorney review.
What you'll need
- Previous experience as a Paralegal, Litigation Paralegal, Legal Assistant, Discovery Specialist, or similar legal support professional preferred. - Civil litigation and discovery experience strongly preferred. - Familiarity with disclosure statements, interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admissions, and discovery responses. - Strong written English communication and professional drafting skills. - Excellent attention to detail and document organization. - Ability to understand and follow legal procedures, attorney instructions, and established workflows. - Strong research skills and willingness to learn the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting established deadlines. - Strong time-management and prioritization skills. - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat/PDF tools, cloud-based file storage, and document-management systems. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and securely handle sensitive legal information. - Dedicated home workspace with a reliable computer and high-speed internet connection.
